Welcome here Mark, it's great to have you here!

I happen to be a little biased towards big block 66's.

Welcome from western Canada. Im glad you found us. I see you have a flatty on the stand in case that 396 gives you problems.

Welcome!  Beautiful car, and I love the Mopar pistol grip shifter - it looks right in there and must make it a joy to shift!

Great colour combination as well!

Hey Guys, Thank you ALL for the Warm responses to my post.

Do any of you know if the 66 Impala Rally Guages I put in my

car were ever offered as a factory option in the 1966 Canadian

Pontiacs?  I thought they were a natural fit in the car

and matched the stock dash guages Perfectly!

Sadly we had no oil gauge or temp gauge available in a full size 66 Canadian Pontiac. The US models had a nice cluster for them but our cluster uses a printed circuit and the US cars use individual wires.

I did a conversion to a US cluster about 8 years ago on a 66 Grande Parisienne I had.

I also made up another conversion for a site member here. It's in the yellow 66 Grande Parisienne currently for sale on this site.

Imop they look more suited in the Grande than they look in the Chevrolet. Guess they didn't want to position the Grande too much like a GP. Keep the costs down?

She's a beauty (but I am also a bit biased too)

Are you looking for a woodgrain finish dash or will a black finish do?  (Ie can you apply the woodgrain yourself.)  It will be a lot  easier to find a dash if you can do the woodgrain. I have a few parts 66's but most are Parisiennes with the black dash. If I remember right the Canadian Grandes had the Dinoc woodgrain applied while the American GP's actually had real woodgrain.

Shipping to you will be a bugger though given the size nd fragility of that big cast piece.

Any chance of getting closer look at the firewall tag just to see the build date, etc?

Hi, I would take a woodgrain or plain dash, I have a new woodgrain veneer

finished and ready to install.  Im More concerned about finding a nice unpitted dash.

I will be going to the Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk Ohio this summer. If someone

has a nice dash and heater control and plans on attending this event, please contact me.

Thanks Mark

Cool, welcome here! You'll find a lot of fans here of the 66 Grande Parisiennes, and lots of info about them as well.

Please post pictures of your car, even if it's a project car.

Are you aware how rare the powertrain combination is? GM says they only made 90 cars like yours.
