Roger, know i am partial to 57 Pontiac's and i love your 57 Pontiac. In these parts (Southern Ontario), you really hardly ever see Pathfinders like yours. It is top and middle of the line 57's that you see around here and that leads me to think that your 57 is rare. What about in your area, are the Pathfinders scarce. You have to tell us more and more mean lots and lots of photos. How is that beautiful workhorse 261 running? Cheers. George.

engine was pulled and re ringed , head rebuilt about 14 years ago ...Been parked for 11... New tires had been installed at that time...rotten now.
so...plan will be to clean it up , set the attitude..and drive it as is...
the 261 will be pulled at some time for my 55... And I'll slip in sbc, one of the 3 I have pulled already, with some era correct speed parts that are on the shelf.
Oh Roger, you sleuth you. Another one comes out of hiding. Looks very solid. George will have a western cousin. What is that white stuff on the ground?
As Arty Johnson used to say on Laugh In while peering through the bushes with his German Army helmet on, Veeerrry interesting!
I see that the base 57 Pathfinder uses the same seat upholstery & door panels as the 57 Chevy 150. That thing truly is a survivor. You couldnt be persuaded into keeping the 261 under the hood, could you?

Maybe this one gets the hopped up 261... And my 55 gets the v-8...?
the car was stored outside for the last 12 years or so.. I'd say it was in a carport before that..came from the Rosetown area before spending the last 14 years outside on a farm close to here.
it will be back on the road.....and I wonder why my 70 vert never gets finished!
