Anyone converted bucket seats to power?

Looking to convert my orig bucket seats to power, most that I have looked at have a large base plate with motors mounted to them and would sit way to high. Thinking of some sort of sports car with a low riding seat. I can adapt the lower rails to match my floor and make a bracket for the controller so I don't have to cut the seat skirt, any idea's of possible seat/fit??? thx

Anyone converted stock buckets to power (2nd gen)

Looking to convert my stock buckets to power(2nd gen). Most donor seats I have looked at have a large base with motors attached which makes the stock seat sit to high. Was thinking some later model sports car with low seats. Anyone have an idea what might work? has someone done this already?

And what a coincidence, they are both Hawkeyes!

I think he is asking for his Acadian Leo.

I don't know but I've driven an 02 Mustang (same as 94-04) with power driver seat. By dimensions might be a good match ... but nor sure about the angle of the supports / rails???

In Ontario   its against the law to install Ford parts in a GM build     install 02  Camaro power seats

Thanks Leo, will look into the mustang seats. Must be some at the wreckers I can measure and I can modify the feet on the rails to get the right angle. Think the main thing would be getting the distance between the rails to match up to my seat base.
