OK...I'm offering the boys and girls on this site first shot at this working and pretty darn nice kneeknocker tach that I took off my 66 Grande Parisienne. Its got all the wiring (labelled), it has been tested and it is plug and play. It has a very cool thumbwheel angle adjustment. All it's missing is the logo on the front.
Way cooler than the cheap repros on the market now.
Here is a quote from one of the guys on the site as to its various OEM applications:
"The biggest driving factor behind the price of this tach is the fact that they were not factory installed. No 1966 Nova (or Acadian) came off the assembly line with a tachometer. This is a dealer installed accessory item. It is a "correct" addition for any 1966 Chevrolet model, including impala/ chevelle/(beaumont) / pick-up truck / corvair etc. They were also sold by Montgomery Wards(old department store chain). We have owned, restored, and sold many of these. Many people are after these, which is why they are priced so high. Supply and demand, ya know. "
$800.00 canadian including freight to any where in Canada. US guys we'd have to work something out.
