Nice car. Might be up there in price but when you compare it to the projects you see advertised for 10 to 15 thousand I think I would rather pay a couple grand more and have this beautiful car. Looks pretty good in the picture and seems he is open to offers. Love the color.
If shes solid .Looks like a good deal alright. 18k wouldnt say is cheap but its fair. Pull 15 k out of youre pocket and hide 3 somewhere else if he wont budge "I really love it,can I have it for nothin? Please

i think i know a good deal when i see one, thats why i posted it. jmont just being a mouthpiece trying to compare the convertible to my hardtop.

You may not like to compare prices on these cars but I and a few other people do. Looking at that car and comparing it to mine they may be fairly close and that is in the ball park of what I would expect to get for mine. To me that is a fairly priced car. So after restoring mine I guess I can answer that I do know what a restoration does cost and I didn't start mine with a 15 thousand dollar car. It adds up quickly enough even when you pay way less than that for them but it is different for each person.

The old "hide some money in another pocket trick"...some guys just been watching too many episodes of Get Smart (LOL).
I recently sold a stripped out rolling CHEV short box pickup parts truck with some Southern sheet metal, for $1500...price agreed on over the phone.
Guy shows up with a vehicle dolly in tow, and offers me $1200 which I flatly said NO...next came $1400, NO again...so out had to come $1500 in cash.
- I said nice try, often times it works but you were getting a decent deal already & car dolly indicates your not going home empty handed
- buyer said, I couldn't believe the $1400 offer was ever rejected...Ha-Ha
You win some/you loose some (I said), but the purchase agreement was accepted over the phone earlier and your buying leverage...well sort of, just vanished !!

Like I said...just a mouthpiece. Mouthpiece has never seen my car in person (picture collector) knows absolutely nothing about the car or what has been done to it or what car comes with..yet he thinks he's the leading authority...hilarious. Needs to shut his face and quit making ignorant comments about topics he clearly knows nothing about.

I've read this thread a few times and I'm trying to figure out who the "mouthpiece" is that you're referring to? Also the reference to "has never seen my car in person"... the one for sale is not yours is it?
