Hello from sunny Saskatchewan! Just wanted to say hi and let you all know how happy i am to be apart of Canadian Poncho.I have been on the site for some time but finally decided to become a member...long overdue.I have always enjoyed learning from some of the best people in regards to information shared on Beaumonts and other Ponchos.My interest peeked the other day when i saw a post by Trucker saying he owned a 67 SD back in the late 80's which described my car to a tee!! A followup conversation happened and i was able to confirm that it was my car that he once owned.I bought my car in 2001 out of Regina.It is an original BB car with the 396/325hp option.Just had the engine freshened up last summer and its good to go.The paint and body work was done on this car back in 1985 when Trucker owned it and still carries itself very well 30 yrs later.Anyways just want you all to know i was very happy to find a former owner by looking on this great site.                         Thanks again.

Welcome here JetRider. I am thinking your car was at a show around 2000 in Regina. We were passing through and happened upon the car show at the dealership. I think it's Regina Motor Products? Is that the name of the dealer when you come around Regina on #1?

Yes you are right Carl, it is Regina Motor Products.Think the previous owner had it there in 2000 as i purchsed it in Sept 2001.I attended it the next few yrs and the Show and Shine was dropped about 5-6 yrs ago.

Thanks Beaumont Guru, always had my eye out for a post that might take me to a former owner and just about fell over when i saw it.Best part is that it takes me back to when it was color changed and i am going to talk to the guy that did the body and paint.Nice to get some more history for sure.

 Yes. Have been blessed with such a lovely family of Beaumont over the years. I'm glad they have all finally grown up and are having babies of their own. Support payment over the years sure are hard on the olé pocket book. I was 18 years old when I had that car. I sure miss it. It was a beauty then and still looks wonderful. The owners sounds like a swell guy which is nice and lookin at his shop he takes good care. So it's a good feeling for sure.

Thanks for the welcome.Sure did...attended that show for probley for 6-7 yrs and have been hit and miss the last few yrs.Always liked going to that show,weather was typically great on Sunday in downtown Saskatoon and Saturday nite was always fun cruising 8th Street.I was watching your build and noticed your color choice and blacked out grill...looks good!!
