Should be an easy fix as long as the disrupter gear is cheap... confuse

Whats a disrupter gear ?

'96 looks solid and good value, but 4x4 is sure nicer in the winter time.
I haven't owned a 2x4 truck, for last 15 years.

 I would imagine the seller doesn't know what's wrong with the  truck. Disrupter probably is the distributor.

If the rotor in the distributor doesn't turn is is most likely the factory cam sprocket for the "silent" timing chain set.
