1957 "Laurentian" fender emblem.

I'm thinking of selling the one and only "Laurentian" fender script I've been able to find after years of searching.  It is complete, straight, and has all of it's attachment points in good shape.  No pitting just chrome flaking off.  It could easily be restored and also used as a mold.  It's hard to value because they're so difficult to find, so I'm open to offers.  If I get an offer that matches what I have in it, I'll probably let it go.

Thanks, Steve.

You'll need to list a price on that Pheadrus to comply with Forum rules on selling parts. Alternatively you can move your post to another section and ask for help in valuing it.

Sorry Ray. Can you move it to the appropriate section or tell me how to? I have no idea what it's value is so I'd love to get some input from members on value.

To comply with Forum rules I am putting a price of $1000 or BEST OFFER. I do not expect to get anywhere close to that. But I have no idea on the market value of this emblem other than it took me years of searching to find this one and I have to put a price to comply with rules.

Hi

I think it's not the good year; here is my '57 emblem.

I agree with Pierre, this is not from a 1957 Laurentian.

It's not really my place to step in, but the idea of putting a price on it is to give prospective buyers an idea of how much it would cost to actually purchase it.  What you are doing is not in the spirit of the rule as you are essentially not putting a value on it as we all know that a pitted emblem to a regular Pontiac Laurentian will not sell for $1000.

If you really have no idea what it's worth, why not follow Ray's suggestion and ask for other members' opinions in another section of the forum.  Then once you decide how much you want for it, post a for sale ad with a realistic price.

Just my 2¢.

Why not post up "what you have in it" then?
