That is nice! Dependable simple engineering, with lots of life left in it from the look of her. You wouldn't pass anybody but you could pretty much fix anything on it with a crescent wrench and a screwdriver.  A cool car you could drive across the country for 3500.00.  Seems like a bargain to me.

I agree, slow and dependable. so much room under the hood with the inline6 you can darn near climb in beside the engine to change the fuel &water pump, alternator, carb or just about anything.  Nice looking body and interior.

If that car is half as nice as it looks in the pictures it sure is fairly priced.

Even though it's not a Grande Parisienne....

Oil the crap out of it like you do your Beaumont and you'd get lots of years out of this one Dave.

And you could change your name to "B" guru instead of Beaumontguru.

That's just what I want for a summer daily driver. Alas, many other priorities.

This car presents itself very well. Certainly looks fairly priced.

Yeah that's with all your old cars, you gotta drive them.  They even look better driven than sitting!

Except we have a lot of old guys who wish they were young again. Trying to re-live what they never had.

Stuff a 396 or a more correct 409 and then you'd have the best of both worlds.   Fun fun fun!

I think it would have been orderable but probably wasn't ever.  But still think of the possiblities of rigging up the coolest sleeper ever!

I really like the car, as it has been said what a sleeper with a big block. I have an old 68 pontiac with a 427. She is not cost effective to restore. But this 65 strato chief sure makes one think lol. Please don't hate me saying that, just an old mans mind wandering. lol
