it is a pocket sized book that a salesman would have used to write a customers order for a 58 Pontiac
It was used by a salesman at Dickson motors in Winnipeg
As you can see by the pictures the salesman was working on an order for a 58 Parisienne ( with a 348 but no power steering or brakes ???!!!! - the customer must have been a farmer)
Also would it have been a 348 with a power glide ? - I thought it was the turbo glide with the 348
Anyway a way neat item
If anyone wants me to look up more information from this book let me know and I will be glad to help
Quite a look back on how car sales were done before computer
Ed ( the salesman ) was going to make some good points on that parisienne sale
I like the section that trash talks the 57 Plymouth and its tail fins - I wonder how GM described the fins on the 59 chev in its promotional material

I'd love to have a Canadian '64 full size book like that! Love it!

Did you read the jab that Pontiac took at Plymouth? They described Plymouth's styling for 1958 as "... A change in the lower grille and removal of the tail lights that used to fit in the ungainly fins just about sums up Plymouths facelift. The result is that its still SUDDENLY 1957!
FYI, Plymouths 1957 slogan was SUDDENLY ITS 1960.
LOL!
