1965 pontiac parisenne custom sport front suspension detailing

Hello Everyone,

Working on the front suspension and wondering if anyone has a list of colors that all the components should ? Spindle's, Upper and Lower Control Arms, tie rods and steering components, steering box, springs, shocks and  all that stuff. Also does any one know where to by the strut arm bushings (4 rubber mounts) having some difficulty locating them found the ball joints, control arm bushings at Napa but no luck on the strut arm bushings.

Thanks Joe

Satin black, satin black, satin black, satin black, satin black, shocks on my '65 are turquoise, satin black and satin black. Steering shaft from rag joint to where it fits into steering shaft housing is natural. If you need stickers and tags, Ames performance engineering.com has great selection. The one kit has the proper "PC" spring tag for my car, your car may be different, lots of different springs.

Hello and welcome Joe,

Here's a 67 said to be correct. Disc USA car, but probably quite representative of what you'd see Oshawa 65-70.

Some stuff painted, some stuff raw

I'd paint any cast stuff with a good cast grey paint anyway. I hate rust.

Cheers, Mark

Consider Eurathane. Much more durable as the strut rods put quite a bit of energy into those bushings. Each brake application punishes them.

Energy Suspension on the web should have a listing for you. Not likely have to replace them.
