Yeah Carl I got over a couple of times but guess you were out looking at other vehicles. Really could not spend much time looking myself as just about every spectator that looked at the 58 had questions about it. Think I should just have a video playing that way I could do less talking and more looking. My buddy with the 59 Chev pickup had to leave at 1:30 so decided to go with him. Quite a challenge to get out without running anyone over!!!!! Bob.

Does anyone know the official tally, of how many cars were there at the Fleetwood Country Cruise In. I know that 3,000 plus cars is real easy to get there. I hear 5,000, 4,000, but does anyone know for sure. I would imagine that Saturday was the bigger day but are there official tally's for Saturday and Sunday.

from the web site from Steve
Thankyou to everyone who came out on June 7 & 8 to support this car show. As you know, the attendance was huge. We were always the largest outdoor show in Canada at only 3,000 cars but this one was a monster at 4,500 cars on Saturday alone. 2,000 cars for show on Sunday and we parked 2,400 spectator cars in two lots. Basically, we parked 8,900 cars somewhere in two days. We raised $175,000 in two days for area charities making the grand total $1,157,000 real dollars in 10 shows. Again, thankyou to all attendees, volunteers, sponsors and vendors, making this the fun family event that it is. -- Best wishes, Steve Plunkett

Well that is good to hear. I get tired of listening to guys bitch and complain on how much it costs to go to a car show but the largest percentage of these shows are sponsoring charities and lots of these guys would never give a nickel towards a charity anyhow. I like it even better when the spectators get to throw in a buck or two too.
The Fleetwood show is on my bucket list.
I've visited Steve's estate twice - once to see his cars and the second time for a daytime showing of his cars and an evening cruise nite.
Thanks for posting the pics.
I believe this information is from last year, as dates are not correct for 2015. June 7 & 8 were the dates for last years show. Being there both years I certainly think the numbers for Saturday this year would be higher than last year. Perhaps Steve will publish them for this year, once the dust settles.
Bob.

On the web called autofile.ca linked to the 2015 fleetwood country cruize-in it mentioned that Steve said there was over 5500 vehicles on display and 12,000 spectators present on the saturday! All the spectator parking areas were full to capacity. He estimated that about 3000 vehicles would have been there on the sunday and spectators about 5000. A new record for sure. Bob.
