Took a shot of this one being towed on Monday. Didn't realize until after how good a picture it was, 65 mph passing him and then centering the sign to tell me the location, Burlington, Washington. Pure luck, not skill let me tell you.

I was having lots of fun with all the neat stuff on here and then i almost lost all my cookies, that 68 Pontiac full size rag top with those absurd looking wheels................ you have got to be freaking kidding me. Hopefully when this dude sells that car, sanity will prevail and sensible wheels will go back on. Cheers. George

Out for a Sunday drive on the back roads. Spotted this 66 GTO with tarp part off,  looks like it's been under the tarp for a few years. No one home but will go back! Too many times I've waited, then they were gone!no

He's going to use the parts car for running gear, has had the other 66 GTO for 28 years. Might see if he'll sell the body and left over parts when he's done with it.confuse

Well I was pretty proud of myself this afternoon. Peddle biking along a small country road in the Quebec countryside and at the end of a driveway I see an open garage door. Told the gang I'd be stopping in there on the way back because I could see Pontiac tail lights. Did on the way back and was curious if he would speak much English so I took the future son in law along and this is what I found. Nice guy who did speak plenty good enough English to BS with me. Has owned the car for 35 years. 327 and he put a 4 speed in it at some point. Was fun as I showed him the picture of my 68 sitting on the trailer. Going to change my name to hawk eye but that is already taken. Will see if I can load the picture.

Wow!  Love those untouched originals!  Amazing the original owner still driving it to this day.

Thanks for posting, Ray.

Spotted this at a small cruise night last week.

One repaint, still in original family. Mileage is just under the century mark. Said he doesn't bring it out much.
Spoke to owner but he has no interests in computers. Pity.

While talking to the owner of this hdtp I found out that another friend, of model A and older stuff fame, has a 69 Beaumont convertible that he's going to start restoring.

What a beauty!  Would love to end up with a nice original non hot-rodded Beaumont like this someday! (it's even the right colour)

I think this is one of the only '68-'69 Skylarks I've seen in a while that doesn't have the front bumper tweaked upwards.

Here's a couple of impromptu shots I have taken this summer while out and about. These are not car show pictures.

First is a very nice Model A. This picture was taken this summer at Owasco Autobody in Whitby / Oshawa, just behind the Owasco Audi / VW dealer. The car belongs to the bodyshop manager and he drives it to work, weather permitting.

July 037.jpg

Next we have a Tor-Red 1970 Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack. This one pulled up alongside me on Kingston Road near Salem in Ajax. I had not seen this car around or before.

Picture 10825.jpg

Next is a 1969 GTO Judge that is about a block or 2 east of me. I have never seen it at any cruise but the owner drives it occasionally in nice weather. Yes, it is real and a Ram Air as well!

Picture 6345.jpg

Lastly is a 1971 Ranchero about 6 houses down from me. It was being driven by the adult son who works for Steamwhistle Brewery. I think Steamwhistle actually owns it. About 2 or 3 doors down from it is a garage-bound 1973 Grand Am coupe with honeycomb wheels. It never sees the light of day and is under 3 or 4 feet of crap in a garage. I can't exactly grab a picture of that one but I saw it today in passing.

We got a really sharp Challenger in today. B5 blue, 392, Scat Pack with the shaker hood. I actually think this car is sharper than the Hellcat. It was special ordered for a customer. The owner told me he hopes he changes his mind as he wouldn't mind it for himself.

Sorry for the poor quality pics. All I had handy was my iPod and it doesn't have a flash.

B5 Blue, has to be one of the best colours ever put on a Chrysler product. That's a sharp looking car. Have I ever mentioned that a good friend is a Plant Manager at Brampton ?
