Parked at our neighbourhood grocery store today. I've never seen it before. I like it!
I like it too ... a lot, though the rear bumper could have been a little more refined.

Nearly 10 years ago at a local show & shine for charity. 427/4 speed SS. I spoke to the owner who bought it new, here in Regina at the now defunct Hauser Chev Olds. It's had one repaint and he had the heads freshened once. 60-some thousand miles on the clock and he had the documentation on hand, which I failed to take a picture of. (IDIOT!!!)
This looks to be a twin to mine , which has been in pieces for close to 20 years . Will likely never get put back together . I'd love to find out if it is still in the Regina area. Do you recall if it was a L36 dressed up with the open element air cleaner, or was it in fact a L72

L36 decal on the open air cleaner, if memory serves me!
In the past I wouldn't have taken a second glance, but you just never see these anymore. Zero rust, just oil spray and patina.
Kind of done up rally style. Expedition roof rack, fogs and sporting a big rear stabilizer bar. More here than meets the eye?
You are right, you don't see them anymore, especially in good condition.
Fortunately for me, I have one, a 73 Biscayne with 19000 original miles, and interestingly, originating in Winnipeg. It came to Newfoundland via Ontario in the late 00's
In my buddies garage Thursday evening. Not a fan of newer style box combinations but being what it is his looks quite nice. Trying to decide on rubber size to fit in there.
