We have a great guy running our local small town (1800) grocery store. He's a bit of a car guy and came up with the idea of Thursday night being cruise night. At 7 PM he blocks off part of his parking lot and let's us hang out. Last night I think we had 18 vehicles plus a few motorcyles. He took a picture of a few of them from the roof of his store. Top right of the pic is my neighbour's 65 Bel Air 2 door post parked beside my Pontiac. I left my phone at home or I would have taken some more pics. Some pretty cool stuff shows up.
Winnipeg guys, what if some time on a Thursday night a few of you came out here and we did our coffee break at this parking lot?
Cool van. Look at the bush/push bar on the front. Are they aluminum bodied?
I cant say for sure but I think so. Even the way the metal has fatigued near the front corner makes me think it is. If these things were a little smaller it would tempt me as a project. Just clean up that patina and make it road worthy.
Winkler is 45 minutes from here. For years now I've been staring at this 64 through the fence, it's never moved. Parisienne, bench seat, don't know any more than that about it but it doesn't look rotten.

There was a 2006 GMC Sierra Diesel for sale in Winkler with the LBZ engine, only 56,000 original km for sale. It was sold in a matter of minutes $40,000

That '64 looks so forlorn.

The gray 4 door was a special model, factory 5L, kinda like an early Marauder, but uglier.
GTS was very original, including rear window rust, a 340 car.
The 66 Chevelle was in the parking area, very nice car.
2 390 AMX.
That hemi blower rod was pretty cool.
As was the 59 2 door post with a 428 and 3 pedals. Fellow who owned that moved here from BC.

I knew it was kinda unique, so I took a pic. Seems like it was an LTD LX, it had a 5.0 V8, I think they were available with a 3 pedals. A 4 door with a mustang motor and 3 pedals, never knew that.

That's right. LTD LX. I knew there was an X somewhere in there. I do recall seeing one in a magazine with a stick. Kind of a neat car. Make a good sleeper as most Mustang parts bolt on.

I was in St. Catherines on the weekend, staying at an AirBnB on Lake St., near a really eclectic car lot called "Courtesy Auto Sales".
There were some unusual car there, including this really solid looking 63 Parisienne with a 4 speed. No idea of the engine size but the body and interior looked great.
