RE: SPOTTED

Winkler is 45 minutes from here. For years now I've been staring at this 64 through the fence, it's never moved. Parisienne, bench seat, don't know any more than that about it but it doesn't look rotten.

There was a 2006 GMC Sierra Diesel for sale in Winkler with the LBZ engine, only 56,000 original km for sale. It was sold in a matter of minutes $40,000

We took part in two classic car shows in switzerland with our Laurentian and saw a lot of beautiful old metal. Here are some pictures

Great selection of cars. Where in Switzerland was it?

Nice to see some Corvettes, looks like a 63 roadster and maybe a 58 (hard to tell).

The 58 Buick Limited is quite a sight in those surroundings.

Thanx for sharing.

And last weekend, the show in Langenbruck, was open for all makes with a age of 30 and older.

The gray 4 door was a special model, factory 5L, kinda like an early Marauder, but uglier.

GTS was very original, including rear window rust, a 340 car.

The 66 Chevelle was in the parking area, very nice car.

2 390 AMX.

That hemi blower rod was pretty cool.

As was the 59 2 door post with a 428 and 3 pedals. Fellow who owned that moved here from BC.

I knew it was kinda unique, so I took a pic. Seems like it was an LTD LX, it had a 5.0 V8, I think they were available with a 3 pedals. A 4 door with a mustang motor and 3 pedals, never knew that.

That's right. LTD LX. I knew there was an X somewhere in there. I do recall seeing one in a magazine with a stick. Kind of a neat car. Make a good sleeper as most Mustang parts bolt on.

Visited a guy and sold him some 62 parts, he bought that red bubbletop that was for sale. He has quite a memorabilia collection a working juke box that plays 45s, he played one for me.

I was in St. Catherines on the weekend, staying at an AirBnB on Lake St., near a really eclectic car lot called "Courtesy Auto Sales".

There were some unusual car there, including this really solid looking 63 Parisienne with a 4 speed. No idea of the engine size but the body and interior looked great.

This was out Wednesday night at our little weekly gathering. 1600 hp and 200 mph. Think with driver it was between 2500 and 2600 pounds. It had a very nice rumble to it when she fired. Great paint work as a fellow air brushed all the Chevy trim and grill and bumpers on it. I now actually see a little Ford Econoline hiding in the back of the picture.
