This was out Wednesday night at our little weekly gathering. 1600 hp and 200 mph. Think with driver it was between 2500 and 2600 pounds. It had a very nice rumble to it when she fired. Great paint work as a fellow air brushed all the Chevy trim and grill and bumpers on it. I now actually see a little Ford Econoline hiding in the back of the picture.
I was in St. Catherines on the weekend, staying at an AirBnB on Lake St., near a really eclectic car lot called "Courtesy Auto Sales".
There were some unusual car there, including this really solid looking 63 Parisienne with a 4 speed. No idea of the engine size but the body and interior looked great.
Is this Lincoln at the same dealer ? Looks like a 1983 Bill Blass
There's a tire shop next to my work. The owner has this 68 Beaumont which has been in his possession for 20 years. Originally sold out of Halifax. It's a driver and has a very stout small block/auto. He's upgrading to a stroker (383) in the next few months. I mentioned Poncho and he's been on here a few times.
My wife and I decided to explore a 4.5km trail about 20 minutes from home today. The weather was perfect and I found a few treasures hidden in the woods:
An antique plow:
What appeared to be an old Vauxhall. Can anyone confirm?
Plate was from 1961 however that could have been added later by an owner as I don't think PEI had front plates back then (we don't now)
A 50's Ford F100. What I couldn't get over is how clean the frame was. Likely from not being on the ground:
An International pickup from the 60's:
I saved the best until last:
The body tag was sitting on the fender:
It decodes as a 59 Strato Chief 6cyl wagon. Pretty sure the colour is Harbor Blue
Last inspected in 1972. I bet she was pretty rusty by then
Looks like an Anglia of Harry Potter fame. I remember them well as my Uncle had one when I was a kid. His was a pale yellow with a black top, I think. Always thought it was a neat little car.
Todd, pei had front plates forever, maybe dropped the front one in the last 20/30 years.

Good finds!
I was also out with a neighbour in the bush below our place yesterday. Found a old farm implement with cool cast wheels that we are going to rescue via chainsaw and tow chain.

Helped a friend do some work on his Meteor, it has a flathead and an electric od on the 3 on the tree. We met when I bought my 59 el Camino from him. In the past he has owned 17 1959 Chevies.

Our company mechanic is a die hard Ford guy and owns a few cool older Fords. Check out this funky 70's van he owns. He found it in a bog a few years ago. That bog must not have had much oxygen in it as the sheetmetal and floors are incredible on this van- especially since it is a PEI vehicle. I'm not sure what year it is as he was on a parts run when I was there. I do know it has a 302/4bbl and a C6 trans. By the inspection stickers on the windshield it was last on the road in 1983.
Thats a time piece, looks like the sidepipes are functional.
