I am only a fan of one generation of Corvettes, that generation and on them, I have a favourite hood, that hood! Nice car!
Likewise. Nice 'vette.

Yesterday morning I drove my wife to work at the dealership. When we pulled on the yard I went what??? We don't get many old cars in like this, it's almost always late model stuff, even though the shop has some car guys working there.
Apparently a guy who worked as a tech there many years ago (I think I worked there with him about a dozen years, he was a tech) bought this car and had it there for a safety. He lost his dad many years ago but clearly his dad influenced this decision because dad had a white 67 Caprice, black vinyl top back in the 80's. I checked this one out, 327/TH400, column shift with a gold Strato Bench interior. I'm looking forward to talking to Mike some day to find out more of the details.

Saw these cars in front of the churches, they were heading to Lunenburg. Started in St Johns and ending up in BC. Also saw a 62 Bonneville from St Johns, and the whole group were not all in Mahone Bay. The 57 Ford was a retractable.

Well son of a gun! I just looked at the stops they have scheduled. They are stopping in the campground in my town, August 12th. I walk by that campground twice a day every day! How cool is that!

Neither car would have had chrome valve covers from factory, they came out in 63. The air cleaner on the 62 is a later model, not sure what year had those snorkel caps but it must be something to do with emissions? 2 very nice cars.

My little town of 1800 done good tonight! We have a cruise night at the local grocery store. The owner often bbq's dogs and burgers, drinks, chips etc for free! Tonight was an exceptional night, we had a fundraiser for a local family who has a 14 year old boy fighting cancer. Live band, free food, fundraiser realized over $6600. It was a win/win tonight, great socializing, fun time for all.
This pic was taken when the crowd was about 1/3 the size it was at the peak time.
Saw this one today. Brings back memories of helping a neighbour shave the door handles and take off the chrome strip on the hood and fill it with lead.(Before I had a drivers license.)
Very nicely done especially the treatment of the rear window. Kept the split glass in the windshield.
Ok,, OK so I got a new memory card for my camera and now have 1.28 gb of space for photos.
I hadnt been taking photos as the camera indicated i didnt have any more memory.
Cliff
Thats all changed.
