Another couple for you Carl.....biggrin.....second one is Dave Billes in 1965 at Mosport.

I almost bought Billes' 65 in summer 66 at Gorries but no deal. That car is worth a fortune today.....no

Yesterday morning I drove my wife to work at the dealership. When we pulled on the yard I went what??? We don't get many old cars in like this, it's almost always late model stuff, even though the shop has some car guys working there.

Apparently a guy who worked as a tech there many years ago (I think I worked there with him about a dozen years, he was a tech) bought this car and had it there for a safety. He lost his dad many years ago but clearly his dad influenced this decision because dad had a white 67 Caprice, black vinyl top back in the 80's. I checked this one out, 327/TH400, column shift with a gold Strato Bench interior. I'm looking forward to talking to Mike some day to find out more of the details.

As a former service manager I am always looking at license plates trying to figure out a code of how to remember plate.

Today I spotted an unusual plate on a Silverado.

That's the first Ontario MFGR plate I've ever seen.

Saw these cars in front of the churches, they were heading to Lunenburg. Started in St Johns and ending up in BC. Also saw a 62 Bonneville from St Johns, and the whole group were not all in Mahone Bay. The 57 Ford was a retractable.

Well son of a gun! I just looked at the stops they have scheduled. They are stopping in the campground in my town, August 12th. I walk by that campground twice a day every day! How cool is that!

Exit 199/401, A&W Cruize Tuesday night.

Two big blocks parked beside me.

Both won car of the night as a tie.

The 62 has to be the rarest Chev that I have seen in person.

Where was the cruise night with TWO 409's?    Cambridge?

Neither car would have had chrome valve covers from factory, they came out in 63. The air cleaner on the 62 is a later model, not sure what year had those snorkel caps but it must be something to do with emissions? 2 very nice cars.

Exit 199 of the 401, Dorchester, Ontario.

Near London.

The 62 was amazing.

The air cleaner is late 70s Corvette.

My little town of 1800 done good tonight! We have a cruise night at the local grocery store. The owner often bbq's dogs and burgers, drinks, chips etc for free! Tonight was an exceptional night, we had a fundraiser for a local family who has a 14 year old boy fighting cancer. Live band, free food, fundraiser realized over $6600. It was a win/win tonight, great socializing, fun time for all.

This pic was taken when the crowd was about 1/3 the size it was at the peak time.

zpotted in my end of the city last evening

Question on these cars - were the GTO style wheels an option for these cars or are those an owned added touch ?

No, the Rally I wheels were only an option for Firebird and Lemans/GTO. But they look great on Acadians and Beaumonts!

For the record, that looks like Brian's car, the March 2022 feature car here.

Saw this one today.  Brings back memories of helping a neighbour shave the door handles and take off the chrome strip on the hood and fill it with lead.(Before I had a drivers license.)

Very nicely done especially the treatment of the rear window.  Kept the split glass in the windshield.

Ok,, OK so I got a new memory card for my camera and now have 1.28 gb of space for photos.

I hadnt been taking photos as the camera indicated i didnt have any more memory.

Cliff

Thats all changed.
