Ok guys, I got a little silly. When we moved to Calgary in 1971 my dad ran a Pacific 66 gas station. Pacific Petroleums Ltd. was the Canadian arm of Phillips Petroleum in the USA. I think Pacific 66 gas stations were only in Western Canada, and were changed to Petro-Canada stations in the early 80's, after Pacific Petroleums was bought by Petro-Canada in the late 70's.
"Corral 66 Service" was at the corner of MacLeod Trail & Willow Park Drive in Calgary, near the original "Corral Drive-In" movie theater which was at Macleod Trail & Anderson Road, hence the station was called Corral 66 Service. My dad only ran Corral 66 for a year or so before moving on, but I have a small collection of Pacific 66 stuff.
Anyways, I thought it would be neat to enhance the car a bit, adding decals that make it kind of look like a gas station sponsored car for the local strip. If you wonder about the "Flite Fuel", Phillips 66 & Pacific 66 had 2 blends back in the day, "Sixty-Six" was regular, and "Flite-Fuel" was premium.
