I find this car remarkable due to its state of factory originality combined with my perceived uncommonality of the model year.

I didn't know an Acadian came as an SS.
What are the options for SS Acadian that year?

CLICK HERE for sales brochure thread. 1968 was a pretty good model year, offering 3 V8's 307, 327 and 350 on Acadians. Only the SS got the 350 but I'd have to think that a 327/275 HP  4 speed combo would have made a pretty neat car as well. (if you added N10 Duals to the 327 you'd be making over 300 HP). Remember that these cars were not manufactured in Canada despite common belief that they were...they came from Willow Run MI built along side Novas.
