Pretty sure you are right Rog, I'd say 70 and down. Also, I think the 71 and up has the 5" bolt pattern vs 4 3/4" on the 70 and down.

Yes       I believe 70 was first year for 15 inch rims   but  71 went to 5 on 5

Actually, they had to start them in 67 on the disc brakes to clear the calipers on the B cars.

Looks like a '72 you found that mother nature reclaimed. 1967-70 Chevy's and Canadian Pontiac B-body discs were compatible with '67-'68 being dual piston design and '69 & '70 single piston set up (far more reliable as well). Discs were optional through 1969 and 1967 & 1968 with disc brakes got 15" ralleys automatically. 1969 discs were standard on SS 427 Impala and maybe 2+2? And the first year of the optional 15" steel wheel. 1970 is when discs were standard on all Impala Custom coupes (not sport) and all Caprice and Kingswood Estate models (not regular Kingswood).

'65-'68 Corvette spindles are the same part number and fit as the "B" body of the same vintage. What I did is buy a used front complete set as cores from a 'Vette and went from there. Of course the usual consumables are the caliper(which are good for cores), the backing plate(dust shield), and the rotor. All other pieces can be cleaned up real nice for re-assembly. Very easy to convert as all parts are available. Way easier to install them on the front opposed to the rear. Been there done that...........my 2 cents.

Any 'Vette parts from '65-'82.....You should be good to go. Pic's are from my old 'Chief after I did the swap with new Torque Thrust D's 15x7's.

Yup, its a very early build 72 Impala Sport Coupe (8-71). It has a 350 2-barrel.

The points made about the 5" bolt circle are true. Chevy truck Rally Wheels work on those cars beautifully.

BIGCARGUY made all the correct points. As for disk brakes being standard on the 2+2, that was only for 1970. Most 1969 2+2s have 14" wheels with 4-wheel drums (even the gold 427 4-speed car and the now deceased dark green (repainted blue) 427 4-speed one shown in Rotting Musclecars beside the silo had 4-wheel drums).
