 You mean CS.wink

If it had an aqua interior, I'd be tempted, but it doesn't.

The front suspension setup on 64 and down cars is completely different than 65 and up, no parts interchange at all that I am aware of.

Because of the x-frame changing to perimeter frame?

Thanks again Carl.
I picked up a steering box & pump off a 86 Monte SS that still has the pitman arm attached. Not sure if it's the right one?
Was hoping to do it all at the same time, brakes & steering.

You can put the Monte box in the 66 but if I remember right, you have to change the rag joint to make it work, and I know you need adapters for the power steering hoses you currently have because they won't fit the Monte box (metric, needs an 0-ring end). I think there's a number of places that sell those adapters but I forget the deal exactly on the rag joint. I believe you have to use your original pitman arm on the Monte box.

I think it has more to do with the steering linkage being different on the X frame with the slave cylinder vs. the 66 style power steering being an integral box.

This is the addaptor I used (18mm to IA) then made up my own HP hydraulic line. Should be able to get at any local Ind hydraulic suppliers.

I did get the power steering pump & lines still intact also. So I may try to change the mounting bracket.

THanks guys for the info!!
