I love the CS stainless bottom trim. It didn't last long on the daily drivers back in the 60's down east. Had a habit of falling off after helping keep the salt spray in contact with the body tin after a few years. I remember cutting away the rusted fender & quarter tin, putting some tar on the remaining and then pop riveting the stainless over the holes. Sometimes the edges of the CS trim was also eaten away so Bondo painted silver filled in the blanks!

66 Grande Parisienne, 2dr HT, 327 4bbl, Auto.

Had the 66 since about 83 and the 65 since 88.
Both still require a lot of work.
