Parts for my Canso Acadian

Hello,  I have a 66 Acadian that I just bought and am going to restore,  I would like to get some feedback as to where the best sites/places to buy parts.  Appreciate any help

Welcome to the site from the Okanagan. Are you looking for used parts or for new stuff? Can always put a request in the parts wanted section here as there are a few guys with parts here and there is a fellow by the name of Menno in BC that has quite a few parts available. I can get you his number if you would like it.

HI Bill, welcome to Canadian Poncho.

Seeing that you are in Canada, a great place to start is our sponsor, NOS Reproductions. You will see there link at the top of this page.

I speak from experience when I say I have never dealt with a restoration company with such great customer service, and I know others will echo this. Plus they are Canadian AND they sponsor our great site!

That would be great,  I have had the car for a month,  and have most the engine parts for a 400 small block.  Thanks for the warm welcome

Nice to know there is a neighbor next door,  I am in Alberta,  I do need some parts.  I have most of the engine parts.  What do you have for sale?

Just brought it home last month.   Good to know that there is a forum that I can reach out if needed.  It is my first restoration

Thanks for the welcome and the info,  I am definitely going to check the link out.  First choice would be giving the business to the sponser,  and it is good to get positive feedback I have not dealt with a restoration company myself either.

Welcome from Canada's east coast! Good luck with the parts search.

Your car looks familiar.

I wonder if we didn't have it on here in the early spring or so, maybe northern BC, and then was quickly put up for sale again.  Not positive but it was also yellow.

It was on kijiji for a little bit,  and than was taken off,  my friend bought it 30 years ago,  sold it to his friend,  his friend sold it lost track of it,  my friend found it again a few years ago and sold it to me.  That car has had quite a journey.  From what we know it has been parked in garage for the last 25 years.

Cool. The one we saw advertised was obviously a different one. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of yours.
