Hello everybody! I'm pretty excited to be a new member of your group and this awesome site- as well as being a new owner of my very own Canadian Poncho. First of all, I want give a huge THANK YOU to Elroy for all the work he has done for me to help me become the new owner of the red '67 2+2 convertible that many of you are quite familiar with. In the short time I've known Elroy, he has truly shown himself to be an honest, straight shooting, helpful and dependable guy- not to mention easy to talk to. Thank you Elroy, and thank you to all of his friends on this site who contributed with info, parts and expertise to get the car where it is today. Now I have the car and a clear path to follow in getting this special car on the road and back to it's (mostly) original glory! I also have a lot to learn and parts to find. Some cash will come in handy too I'm thinking. If you guys and gals don't mind helping me with the first two, I will do my best with the rest. I've already read up on many posts on this site. Thanks Todd and all the other contributors for this informative and entertaining online environment. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all. So....... I will have a zillion questions (hope that's OK) and I'm willing to help out the others here in any way I can. Great cars and great people here. You guys sure know how to have fun! Gotta get to work now. I will be checking in often.
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
Welcome from just up the road in the Okanagan and we are hoping to be a no snow zone for another 6 weeks or so. I've met Elroy and everything you said is true so it is good to hear where your car came from and you're able to take it the next step.
Hey good to see you on here John ! Glad to see that car in good hands as I really do care about it's further existence and the significance of it in Canadian Poncho history. John is a bonafide car guy and I think his excitement over this car is refreshing for sure. This site has helped me so much and I am sure it will help you along too John. Thanks too to all you who know you helped me with everything from finding those quarters to a lot of the info etc. I am not going anywhere soon and intend to keep tabs on you guys ! THanks for the other comments too, u guys are such liars haha !

Thanks for your continued support. Looking forward to the day when that baby is ready for you to turn the key and go for a spin! My door is always open!
Hi Elroy. We will have to be patient, but when the car is ready, you will be the first to know!
And Hi Ron! I'm going to send you a PM and maybe we can meet up? I'd really like to invite you over and maybe you could give me your perspective on the car and my plans.
