Sounds like it's a non runner. My best friend in school's parents had a 72 Riv GS with Stage 1 heads!
I think he still has the heads off that car.

These are nice looking cars, especially the GS with the buckets/console. Might be a hard sell in non running condition.

Funny how kind time has been to these cars, when introduced in 1971 they were an unmitigated sales disaster plummeting Rivera sales to an all time low only to be surpassed by the next debacle that appeared in 1974. The GS was a decent enough performer for a land barge managing 0-60 times in the low 8's.

Buick also had "MaxTrack" (introduced on full sized Buick's in '71)the first electronic version of traction control. I love the full sized console shifter's on these cars

They really have redeemed themselves, eh Ray?  Sheer bulk is the only drawback to these cars. They are BIG CARS!

71 to 76 GM's were truly large barge's. These are about the best looking of the era.

Those shifters are the coolest automatic controls since the pushbutton Todd.

Always remember this scene from the 1978 movie Corvette Summer with the boat tail Buick.

1978...I think this movie put some popularity back into the boat tail Buicks....and popularized the low rider hydralics craze.

I've kicked my butt more than a few times for not purchasing a low mileage, loaded, 1 owner about a dozen years ago.
I thought $2500 was too much.

My high school English teacher had a bronze coloured one. He let us do oil changes on it in auto shop. It was FULLY loaded!

My Mom's car a 1972. Just out of our body shop after repaint. Picture of younger brother and car taken ~1982. Special place for that car in my heart as it was one of the cars first I honed my driving skills on.
