My 65 over the last 2 years

I've been working on the 65 for the last 2 years when I've had time as I'm only home 8-10 days a month it's been taking a long time.  I've managed to put about 200 miles on the car this year and a set or tires lol.

The first pic is what I bought and the teardown starts from there.  This started as what I thought would be a small rust repair around the rear wheel openings, as it turned out the drivers side quarter had about 2" of bondo on it and the car had been hit on the rear drivers side and just covered up.  I ended up replacing both rear quarters.  If your going to do the body you have to pull the motor to clean up under the hood.  This is not a body off redo as the underside was in good shape and I live in the country and I drive it down the gravel road.

Lots of nice work! I like the colour of it now ... Aztec Bronze-like. Where did your old flame-job era rims go to?

The rims are collecting dust in the back corner of the shed.

Too bad you are not closer, I'd ask you if you wanted to sell them. The distance is a killer.
