Is that a (non-standard) flipper hubcap on the car the beauty queen is approachin?

 Dave, they were standard on the top of the line Bonneville rag top only and optional on (ALL) the other models offered in the U.S. They sure are a sharp looking wheel cover.

Never saw any on a 57 Pontiac in my hometown (Wisconsin, pop. 30,000) or I'm sure I would have remembered.

I did have a buddy with a 57 Olds J-2 with the tri-bar caps, it was pretty fast for its time. (But I think the Pontiac is better-looking.)

Wow - that 4 door hardtop with it's rear end facing us is similar color combo to my first car,

it was a 4 door sedan but still pretty cool to me at 18.

Of course i am partial but there is no doubt in my mind that the 57 Pontiac is one sweet looking time machine.
