Make sure the adjustment knob is well seated, mine went missing for quite a while, eventually turned up under the seat, used a touch of Locktite to make sure it stayed. if the mirror's hard to find just imagine trying to get the knobbie !
It (pointed base) should also be correct for 1970-72 Chevelle wagons & El Caminos. The blunted end base is correct for 1970-72 Chevelle coupes, sedans and convertibles.
