A RARE GEM!  If you're the right person, like a knowledgeable car guy, I'm willing to sell you this beautifully restored 1969 Pontiac Parisienne 2+2 Convertible.  Manufactured at General Motors in Canada and called the Catalina model in the USA.  This vehicle is from the original owners collection and I've been told it received a frame-off restoration before being stored.  From it's present condition that appears to be true.  I have all the original documents and pictures in a folder that came with the car.  The original 350HP V8 motor has been rebuilt and presently has 449 miles in total on it.  The original 3 speed automatic transmission has been rebuilt. The interior is new and done in the original style.  Two Bucket seats in front with a centre console and automatic shift between them with the Bench seating formed into two seats in the rear. The convertible top and its vinyl driving cover are new. The electric motor in the trunk which raises and lowers the top is new.  The tires are new steel belted radial whitewalls made by Brunswick, size P215/75R15.  I have lots more pictures if you're seriously interested.

As a Wining Bonus I'm including a 1988 BMW 735i for FREE with the final purchase of the Pontiac 2+2 Convertible.  This silver grey, black leather interior BMW has had extensive work done to it as well.  The new rims and tires on it are worth $2,000.00 alone.  I'm offering this fantastic deal because I've got to clean out my garage before moving to Mexico early in January.  Otherwise I will have to store the vehicles and won't be around to sell them.

I will deal with anyone who is serious about giving these cars a new home.  Pick up or Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser but I will assist with details in delivery however possible.  I can be reached by email at pms37888@live.ca as well as Facebook and Twitter.  I will include contact information as well in the eBay ad.   Please don't waste MY time or YOURS with Lowball Offers and Trades.  Yes, I'm cleaning house but  I won't take a loss either. Thank you sincerely.

Where is Baltimore, Ontario?  Also curious how he got the listing for more than a week as I could only get 7 days when listing the Laurentian.

Very nice, rare and all, but for 45K it should, at a minimum, have the correct hubcaps...

Part of me enjoys seeing our Canadian Pontiacs getting recognition by fetching big dollars but I'm afraid we haven't seen a lot of that in the last while. I'm nicely trying to say, good luck to the seller but it will sure take the right guy.

The other half of me wishes they got no recognition at all so the Canadian Pontiac hobby could stay affordable for those of us in it!

Probably has different wheelcovers due to the 15" wheels. I wonder if it is a disk brake car?

For that kind of money under that hood should be perfect. I see lots of stuff that looks like it may not have been a great restoration. Nice looking car but I think the price is way out left field

With "Corvette style" rally wheels 1967-69??

Thanks

I think discs didn't arrive on these cars until 1970.

Yeah, the auction is kind of strange, really.  Like a thinly-veiled disguise to sell 2 cars for the price of one auction.  Problem is, it doesn't give either cars justice.  People who want a BMW won't check a Pontiac ad, and people who want the Pontiac won't pay the pricetag.  Even for the rare person who would want to buy both cars at once, you could do much better buying each individually.

The ad says moving to Mexico in January, so I imagine if a person were to contact the seller directly, you would probably be able to work out a deal for the Parisienne.  I think also that a lot of Canadian sellers are trying to take advantage of the US exchange rate now, which explains the ebay auctions.

Nice Poncho, though.

The car is displaying the correct 69 B body hubcaps (they were available in both 14" & 15"), and it's a drum brake car.  (it has the small master cylinder, and doesn't the line going to the small valve between the master cylinder and junction block that's on the disc brake cars).

Can you give a history of 1967-70 disc brake B bodys please.??

I only remember 1967-68 B bodys and disc brakes with skinny 15" Corvette Style Rally wheel, rings and caps.??

No disc brake 67-68 with 14" Rallys, plain steel 14 or 15 with wheel discs??

How about 1969 disc brake B bodys, Rallys yes,  Rallys with 15" wheel discs over top available?? 14's ??

1970 standard 15" steel wheel was disc brake comparable, but Rallys available??

Please correct as needed.

Thanks

Randy

67-68 disc brake cars that were not ordered with rally wheels came with black painted 15" rally wheels under wheel covers. There is no 14" wheel made to clear B body disc brakes.

69-70 I'm not sure, sorry Randy.

15" steels ( D/B compatible, were available in 69 , and see no reason why they were not in 70 too ).

code YZ  - passenger B body

code ZA  - Wagon B body

My 69 Biscayne has the YZ 15"steel with dog dish caps

Carl, not to be argumentative, but my understanding was if one ordered disc brakes on say a 1967 Pontiac Strato Chief

you got the 5 hole 15" Rally style wheels wheels with the small center cap as part of the package.

If one ordered disc brakes and optional wheel discs, or full wheel covers, you got the optional covers over the 5 hole wheels.

Although disc brake wheels have become the ultimate in car guy circles they were considered basic dog dishes at first.

The first time I noticed the disc brake wheels back in 1967 was on RCMP Pontiacs, looked cheap at first, then COOL!.

Full wheel covers were higher up the food chain even on Corvettes!!.

But, as usual, I stand to be corrected..!!

Thanks

Randy

You could well be right. When I stripped the 4 piston discs off a 68 Parisienne for my black 66 GP in the mid 70's, it had black rallys under the covers so I assumed that was how it came.
