I have a couple of rally gauges that I've acquired and am going to sell them but want to be sure which are which and if anyone has an idea of a fair value for them. Thanks in advance for an opinion.
Top one is a 65 Canso Sport Deluxe. You can check out pics of Lefty's car but it seems to me the markings on a 63 SD are different.
Bottom one is certainly not all original because you could never get gauges in the first gen Nova or Acadian without there also being a clock in between. Also, it is a Nova cluster as evidenced by the one piece lens.
And with that said, I've been wrong before!
As far as value, I would venture to say somewhere between $100-$125 Canadian for either one would be a fair, middle-of-the-road price. For someone with an Acadian missing it's cluster, they should be happy to find an original gauge style cluster (not lights) for $200 or less (in my opinion) Typically the Nova cluster would bring around $75-$90 US the last I saw. I haven't been following this stuff as much the last couple of years though.
Does your 65 project have the original gauges in it?

It didn't have gauges when I bought it and a while later the previous owner got back to me and said he had the gauges he thought were for it so I bought them. So that must have been the top one then. The other one came with some other parts I had bought.
The top one is certainly correct for the 65, I'm just not sure about 63. I remember educating myself on what was correct in what but my hard drive must have been full and some of the files were purged!!!

hi jeral would you consider parting with that clock in the top gage cluster . it sure looks like it would fit my 63 cluster . does it work ?. i hope i have not derailed a thread by asking but i could not help my self . pm me if you will part with it , thanks jim.
Yes, those P series, the ones that usually ended up as ice cream trucks or courier vehicles. They had a cluster that was not identical but very similar.
