This car is very solid and fun to drive. The undercarriage has been oiled since new and has no rust at all. Very clean car. It has the original 194 cu.inch engine and original 2 speed automatic transmission. The trunk still has the spatter paint on it. Door, trunk, and hood seams are like new. Runs well and can drive anywhere.
It does look like my old car. Yes the interior is the same as well. Have to get Brian to weigh in on this as he's the more recent owner. He bought it from me, had work done to it and probably knows where it is now
This car was for sale when I bought the other Acadian from Brian. Same pics as ad years ago. The car that Earl, Brian and I owned is alive and well and not for sale near Yarmouth NS.
Ad seems to hint that this is an original car. Would the trunk splatter paint have been factory applied? Don't think so. Looks like engine has been painted.
And oh, those red heater hoses - doesn't anyone make black hose anymore?

Right on! Good to hear it's made it all the way down east! Did you know that when I took it out of the barn at the back of John Wright Motor Sales that it had supposedly never been out of Middlesex and Oxford county? The school teacher who bought it new there never drove it in the winter because she lived close to her school and was apparently afraid of getting stuck or smashing it up.
