Besides the story in the Nov '02 Canadian Classics magazine, there is a small follow-up story about a second spotted Black Panther in another issue of Canadian Classics.
The Black Panther is a very beautiful car ... I love it, one of my favourites (except for the cornball James Bond console switches).

I have spoken to Bernie several times. A very knowledgable guy. He was a mechanic at Gorries during the sixties and I'm sure he worked on some pretty interesting cars. His tool box is covered in vintage stickers from his mechanic years. I was lucky enough to get a Gorries dealer decal that he had reproduced from the one on his toolbox. I would like to read the article about his run in with the US cops.

Speaking of GORRIES CHEVROLET stuff, i have a number of ads from 1961 to 1965 that are black and white and in like new condition. 15 of the ads are half size ads and three of the ads are full size ads. Mostly Corvette, Corvair, Nova, Chevelle and full size Chevrolet. All of these ads came from Track and Traffic magazine back then. If there is any interest, please contact me. Cheers. George
