i am selling my 1964 riviera, has a completely rebuilt numbers matching kx code 425 super wildcat engine, it is black with new dark blue interior, new reproduction seat covers, ca rpet and wood kit, rest of interior is very nice original, body very nice, only rust i have found is bottom of drivers door, carbs rebuilt, new water pump. starter, alternator, fuel pump, electronic point conversion, new front coil springs etc. looks good for 25-30 year old paint.cars shows 120.000 miles. sold new in oregon then went to b.c. then to pilot butte, sask about 25 years ago. only 2122 super wildcats built in 1964.. asking 14,500.00 obo. phone 306-519-2314

The torque convertor had electrically operated stator vanes. Normal stall speed was approx 1400 rpm, at WOT a switch on the carb linkage sent power to the convertor changing the pitch of the vanes,changing stall speed to approx 2800 rpm. The higher stall speed really helped launch the car...
A real beauty. Those sweet 2x4's sure look better with the individual small chrome air cleaners, compared to the factory giant round single a/c. Gotta love the original valve covers.
All it needs is the 65 front end, with those $1,000 a side clamshells, eh?
