I wonder if it's a factory 4 speed? The console appears to be Nova.

We know it can't be matching numbers but a 327 4 speed Acadian is cool, matching numbers or not!

Isn't it true that in the Canso V-8 hardtop, non-SD, the V-8 option was the 283 and the only 327 offered that year was the L-79 350hp 327ci.

I know the 66 Acadian Canso hardtop I just bought is 1 of 302??   Actually less production than the 66 Canso SD.

No T10, it would have had an M20 and Norm is right about the L79.Looks like a '67 interior also.Kinda crusty underneath,it needs a good cleaning/detail .

Yes, that would be how I have always seen it too. Two V8's in 66 Canadian Nova/Acadian, a 2 bbl 283 or an L79.

After 50 years biggrinbiggrin    it might have had a 327 and T-10 added    maybe even buckets were added     A lot of cars were modified in the first 10 years alone  lol

I have even heard of big blocks being added

Nice car and fairly clean but not worth 27g in my opinion. Near mint (bottom & top) 66SD sold on the Island a couple of months back for 20g. Saw it on used Vic for sale and passed it a couple of weeks later on a flatbed heading up Island.Whats with the yellow brake line??
