LT1 Optispark Distributor For Sale Impala SS, Roadmaster, Firebird, Camaro, Fleetwood

If you own a 95-97 LT1 Firebird/Camaro, 94-96 Fleetwood, Caprice, Impala SS or Roadmaster, you're likely familiar with their famous Optispark distributor. People sail they fail suddenly and fail often. I have to say that in my experience with those cars over a 12 year period/300,000 kilometers, that was not the case but most people have found otherwise!

These distributors are expensive to buy, new or used. If you have one of these cars, have I got a deal for you! I bought these distributors used to have as a backup for my cars that had Optispark but never needed them. One distributor is marked as having 45,000 miles, the other one is mileage unknown. They are both GM units which are by far the most reliable replacement made, in spite of many manufacturers claims. I bought these from a well respected member on the SS forum at that time, so I have no reason to believe they are anything but as he represented them, both good working units.

I am looking to get a fraction of the price I paid for them. It seems to me I have over $100 in them and I'd like to get $40 for the pair of them, or $30 for the low mile one, $20 for the unknown mileage unit. (Plus actual mail costs of course)

I'll take them Carl, and give them to the guy that bought my car. Do you want PayPal or e-transfer?

It's just Johnnee, just ignore him and he will go away Kevin. Kind of like one of those flies that does circles around your head. If you wait long enough they leave...

Yes, both sold to StriperSS and on their way to Alberta already.

I might have a fake one but no more real ones for sale!

so what goes wrong with these when they go south? quit all together or only fire some of the cylinders?

It's where they're located that's the pain. So much has to be removed to get at them! If I'd have kept the wagon, an LS swap would have been in the plans.

Although not as extensive as this one! A friends car in North Vancouver!

From what I hear, most times they just puke.
