Hi and welcome to the site. Your Pontiac is a Pathfinder Special 2 doors sedan. Look at the link in my website. It's the owner manual. You can print it etc.
Your car is 3 speeds, with a flat 6 239ci, 2 barrels WCD Carter carburator. You've got the regular head, which mean it's a manual car. PowerGlide Pontiac has the High compression head. Your differential ratio is 3.70, on PG car is 3.55.
On the Special, the heater, radio, clock was a option.
Picture soon??
Fitz.

Sorry for the MAJOR delay in the pic you wanted...... Owner covered the car in WD40 and we had serious issues with the paint "poping" had to resand and repaint. Thanks again for all your help. Hope the pics come through.

ANDRE- this brings up a question. When I rebuilt the L-6 I used .060" O.S. pistons and changed the head to a high compression one from my donor motor. I have a 'three on the tree' tranny.
Was this a good idea? My thinking was that it would bump the HP a bit but since I haven't fired it yet I don't know what to expect.
They change for HC head for the lost of power with the powerglide. But why make 2 heads.... wouldn't be cheaper to keep the same head? sometimes it difficult to understand everything in this world!!!
