Old boy needs a new home. Sadly I need the room. It runs extremely well, has a 307 out of a c10, ram horn headers, but that's about it for exhaust. Has new suspension and sits low but never rubs or bottoms out. Not a dragster, but rather a fun cruiser. Lots of thumbs up when your driving around. All the chrome is there and in good shape, glass is all there, windshield has a crack but nothing major and replacements are readily available. Will consider interesting trades, but mostly just need the room.
Well I am not really a fan of moredoors, but I hafta admit that vintage looks pretty good, and the car looks pretty straight, especially the (impossible to replace) bumpers and grille and side trim (interior, not so much, but that can be handled), and an SBC can be dressed to look sweet for minimal $$$ (who cares if it is a measly 307, as long as it cruises OK), so ... call me crazy but I have made him an offer, so we will see where it ends up ...
Remember: my wife got the pool, and I was supposed to get another car, but that deal fell through, and she did get her pool, which is causing me no end of grief trying to get the freaking chemicals right (chlorine, pH, total alkilinity, phosphates, iron, every time I go to the pool store to check it out it's another $30-50 ) ...

Dave, you are a MOREDOOR racist. Repent before it is too late. Cheers. George

Well, I actually have not bought it yet, there are certain conditions that have to be met, and money had not changed hands, and I do not have the car with title and Florida registration in hand yet, but ... well ... ya gotta admit, there are advantages to allowing passengers to get into the back seat without having to contort their aging, not-so-flexible-anymore bodies, and, as I have noted, that vintage moredoor has IMHO a decent roofline, and ... dang ... OK, you have called me out, so ... ach, I need another G&T ...

I had a 59 el camino, not enough room for people. The 2 door has the room but its a PITA when you have people in the back seat getting in and out so a 4 door is a great option. Pricing is great too. Only one thing wrong with what you are buying- its not a Cdn Poncho, so parts will not be easy to find when you need something. I like the looks and the colour.

Excuse me, the ad says Bonneville, the steering column says Parisienne.
