Very solid car for the year, biggrin

trunk belly will need metal repair.cry

Will need "some restoration" IF  turning into a show car, wink

but would make a solid cruiser with "minimal" effort.biggrin

All new brakes.

Thank you

Looks more like "mouse" power than rat power when I see the back seat!

No where does the seller say this is a factory 427, in fact his claim is it was a Dealer add on. Interesting that it does sport the proper 1969 Pontiac 427 fender flashes though, would be consistent with a dealer engine switch back in the day. Can't argue with Big Block power regardless.

Quote "Don't you like the message needs restoration if turning into show car lol lol " I think that is accurate!

And I'm afraid without paperwork for the dealer install that claim is worthless. I hope he has documentation.

If he has paperwork on the dealer engine swap then it tends to add some value (it does with chevelles south of the border)... If not, then there's not much added value, but a cool story. There's also a history in the early 70s of dealer swapping out BBCs for smaller engines for reduced fuel consumption in customer cars.

I don't see anything under the hood that looks stock.  Maybe he means it has factory 427 emblems.

The seller makes no claim that this is a factory install, just the title of the thread is misleading cry

It's pointless without the dealer paperwork. George's papers won't show anything.

Those are GM 427 emblems. They were installed in the full sized Pontiac's in '69. I'm really surprised we aren't seeing any documented dealer installed 427 swaps into Beaumonts. It seems like a no brainer to me.

If its a real 427 block, the block is worth something if rebuildable. It would be interesting to get "all" the numbers off the block to "maybe" see what it was originally. What's a real 69 427 worth versus a 1974 454, etc.? Big difference in value IMHO.

He certainly didn't do himself any favors cleaning up the car before taking pics.

I know. You see a lot of this. Take an hour or two to make the car presentable!

Whatever its pedigree ,or lack of, motor looks like a bit of a hotrod! Twisted intake, extractors, HEI fitted, shifter....might be a nice motor. But pricey for canadians...

Was the firewall on a 69 Beaumont body-colour or black?

If they were originally black, what year did they switch? And did all Canadian Pontiacs switch?

I'm not criticizing this car - it is what it is. Simply trying to learn.
