The value of a clean and undamaged original, low mileage cannot be discounted. You can get repro quarters but they haven't invested enough in tooling to get the proper pontoon bulges.

Just looking at the pictures from the ad, you can tell the car is a low mileage original. I'd say that a gentle and careful cleaning of details, maybe some of that anti-rust grease for things like steering shafts, hood hinges and such.

Does anyone happen to know which 350 is under the hood? I would expect a 4-barrel. Either way is good, either 255-horse with 9:1 compresssion, or the same engine with 10.25:1 compression & 4-bolt mains making 300 horsepower. The shift indicator looks like you can see L2 & L1 which is a good sign; it has power steering (variable-ratio on an Impala) and going by the correct master cylinder what must be power 11" drums.

They were rugged and simple cars. That is one that has a lot of life left in it. It sure has a striking and unusual colour scheme.

It is an Impala Custom but Custom should be below Impala.

Something extra on this one, but I cant see what.

Thanks
Randy

Wow Black with a white vinyl roof and red interior, weird!
Could the white roof be a dealer add on at a later date?
That could account for the two word script on there.
Very clean car, I think posting pictures with the original wheels and covers would help the sale.
Whoever is going to purchase this will be a fan of originality.
Thanks for the Impala Custom badge, picture Randy, always love to see stuff like that!
