Very nice car! Is that the original colour? I think that might be the original colour for my 69.

Thank you and yes it is, QQ code Verdoro Green ( hope I spelled that correct, I didn't check first).  I believe a Pontiac only colour,  by that I mean not available on the Chevelle As far as I could tell.

Nope, it was available on 1968 Chevelles. I ordered a Malibu from the factory in Verdoro Green with black interior. Was delivered exactly as ordered.

Real nice looking car, yours, I mean.  Welcome from Whitecourt Alberta.

Fred

Hi Fred, thanks for the update and confirming.  I got my info from here

http://chevellestuff.net/1968/paint.htm so it must be that Canadian built cars could be ordered in that colour while maybe the US ones couldn't?

Can't verify what the US did, Calvin. That color was fairly popular across the GM line although it may have had different names according to brand. Each division seemed to have their own names for the same colors then. I also had a 1968 SD 396 the same color after the Malibu. Always liked the color since the metallic in it changed the color with the lighting.

Again, you have a sweet little unit there. Drive her with pride.

Fred

Welcome from Langley. Very nice looking car.

Just wanted to let you know that ICBC has made some significant changes to the Modified Collectors program. They have moved it from 1958 to 1974, this has just come about in the last few months. You can find all the information at www.sva.bc.ca so the fact that you have the 350 would not be a problem. Hope that this is of some help to some others as well.

By the way, the Poppy show was a great day and must have been over 500 cars.

I sure that this has been approved, but until they get the new computer system up and running, they are putting it on hold. This has to be the longest process to get a system up and running in this modern day and I have heard that the cost is growing by the day.

The SVABC is now trying to get approval of open wheel vehicles.

Thanks for the heads up Luppy, I already received my Hagerty collision/comprehensive/liability policy plus my basic ICBC but will definitely look into next year if its available by then.  Thank you to those that have welcomed me since my last 'thank you'. I've always personally loved the 68/69's Beaumonts, especially the front, it looks so aggressive and maybe it's just me but reminds me of a shark. Lol.
