When I was at the Portland Oregon Swap Meet in 2010, there was a white Catalina equivalent to this car.  It needed restoration, but was in good shape.  Something like $4000 US, I was almost tempted to drive it home.

12K is a little rich or it, but it looks to be in exceptional condition. As in "you don't have to do pans or a frame"!

Would my 496 fit?

Bolt in the 496. Looks restored, cheap compared to the cost of fixing one up.
