63 Acadian power steering pics

I just picked up a p/s setup from a 63 Nova that I want to install in my car. The engine that was in the Nova was a 250cu in 6 cyl. so it wasn't original.

Does anyone out there have an original setup on a 194cu in 6 cyl that they can post some pictures of? The parts books and assembly manuals are a bit vague.

Thanks

I have an old 6 cylinder engine that has all the correct mounting hardware on it. Will try get you a picture of it. Had just taken a picture of it to sell.

I'm thinking that motor came from a Beaumont, because I know the big bracket and the crank pulley is wrong for the 63 Acadian. My setup has a smaller bracket that mounts to the exhaust manifold and the top brkt for the alternator is the same for p/s or without p/s. According to the assembly manual it looks as though I need to find a double pulley for the water pump and the alternator. The Acadian has a single groove pulley that bolts on to the front of the crank balancer to achieve the second groove there. Thanks for the pic and if you are willing to sell the alternator pulley or alternator complete and the water pump pulley (if it's two groove) let me know.

you will need a double pully on crank and alternator
they make a add on to the crank that makes it way easier
thats how dealers added it on

Yeah, I think you are right as for the engine being from a Beaumont. Actually thought the mounting system may be the same. I probably shouldn't sell the pulleys seperate in case I find someone looking for the complete package. I was asking $60 for everything.

Thanks Lefty those pictures match what is in the assembly manual. Hey jmont64 what about selling the alternator with the pulley? If I was in B.C., I'd pickup the whole shot if all you want is $60. Or was that the price for the alternator?

No, $60 is for all of it. I can probably find a ride to Calgary for it if you want with a buddy. Give him a $20 Timmies card and he'd be happy. No pressure, I think it's priced fair as I don't see them for sale very often.
