1967 Beaumont 10 bolt, 8.2 posi, complete diff

Hi, wondering what this diff might be worth? 10 bolt 8.2 posi, original to my Beaumont. Complete drum to drum, 3.73 gears professionally installed. The housing is mint condition, never rusted or pitted, as smooth as the top of the car. Original cover was chrome plated. A one year only housing, but can be used on earlier or later cars...  $800?

I must be a cheap sucker, I was going to say $800 is fair, $1000 you would be laughing all the way to the bank! I guess I'm getting old, when we were in our 20's you could hardly give away a 10 bolt posi!

I think it will be a slow sell being a 10 bolt...although it can handle more abuse than the average car will ever get thrown at it... I think the trick will be finding someone local who is looking instead of shipping anywhere.

Well, if I can net anything over $800 to a Canadian poncho member, I'll donate the balance to the site.

if the housing is that clean and pro built I still say it would be $1200 to the guy building a match number small block car
