What the heck was that thing doing with rat power in it?

I knew the owner for a long time.. He liked to build him his way .. And run fast .. 

Thus one got to close to a grass fire.. Sort cooled his interest , that ,,,,and the engine had a noise?  I never ran it , but it does turn freely by hand . 

 

Ill check on The sweeps Ray .

 Thanks Rog, condition will be evident without pulling them out. If rubber is good and no signs of rust underneath then I'l be interested. Longshot with these cars though.

Looking for a couply  of things  1) left and right lower vent cables and knobs if good 2) trim around rear licence plate on trunk. Thanks Rick
