Yes, I'll post a complete thread for that, and in the same way, I built a power unit/smart charger exclusively for 6 volts car. It can handle the high 12 volts current needed for accessories, and run from a 6 volts car without modification. I run my car with that since april with great success. For those who want to switch from 6 to 12 WAIT!!
