Someone asked me if 67 Beaumonts came stock with BB hoods and I couldn't answer.
I know 1966 Beaumonts did not get the BB hood regardless of whether it was an SD, a BB or both. But I am not sure about 1967's. I've seen many that have the BB hood, and I am about 90% sure the 67's did come with BB hoods, but I'm not positive. Tried looking for some sales brochures, but couldn't see one that showed a BB hood.
^^ Great question Wes, one I often pondered before joining CP - I did a lot of archive reading here, and I think the answer is No & Yes.
Let me explain, hopefully as best as I can: - like the 67 Beaumont Custom, early Sport Deluxe cars (September-December 1966 production) had a VIN. # starting in 736 - some of these 736 SD's did have SBC engines and all off which equaled flat hoods
VIN. #738 was specific for the 396-v8 only SD's / January on production or from mid December...small blocks N/A now. - all these BB's had domed hoods, borrowed from the S/S
I have the GM of Canada Sales Brochures for 1967 Beaumont - printed before cars hit show room floors...probably spring print date
- when early SD's didn't have a separate VIN #
My 1967 Sport Deluxe VIN. starting with #738, has a BB-louvered hood, which I believe to be original.

Early Sports Optioned cars had both sbc and BBC engine options with a flat hood, and as per above once GM switched to the 738vin SD, it was exclusively a BBC car with domed hood.
Curious - the early #736 Sport Deluxe cars / did any 1967 SD's come with the 6 cylinder engine, or only v8 ?
I was surprised to hear it, but apparently yes... There was at least one documented one, talked about here a few years ago, I recall. Also im sure there were very few L34 736 vin sport option cars... We don't have actual production figures, but with GMVVS documents, someone could actually tally them up...probably less than a couple couple hundred total, so maybe a few dozen convertibles, then probably less than 10% of that we're BBC optioned, most were probably 283/pg cars. These are just pure speculative numbers...
