1968 Beaumont, 2 door, 307, 2 speed Powerglide column shift - turn signal switch

Hello

I am working on a 1968 Beaumont, 2 door, 307, with a 2 speed Powerglide column shift. The turn signal on one side does not engage. I remove the steering wheel expecting to replace the turn signal springs and there wasn't any. It has the plastic tabs. I checked with a local parts store and Blue Streak has a p/n TW 12 (which has turn signal springs). I checked the Blue Streak website myself and there is no listing for a 1968 Beaumont turn signal switch or repair kit. There is for a 1968 Chevelle - TW40 and TW 71c. I 'm not sure if these are the same so I googled it and there is a few Blue Streak part numbers. TW 12, TW 40, TW 71. Is TW 71 the correct repair kit p/n? Is TW 12 the upgrade with the turn signal springs? Does anyone have a part number from another manufactuer? I can cross reference it.  Any information would be helpful.

Thanks

Jim

I also needed one for a 68 Beaumont and found a listing in the Ames performance catalog. I called them and it
was out of stock but they were expecting to get some in. It was red in color which I think indicates the difference between Chevelle and Beaumont. I never did get one as the owner of the car was content to cancel
the signal manually. Let me know if you need a part #
or their phone #.

Hi Stan

Thanks for your reply. I emailed Ames and waiting for an answer.
