The Lost Beaumont. 1 Of 45. 1964 Pontiac Acadian Beaumont Sport Deluxe SD 4 spd. Not all 1964 Acadian Beaumonts were automatics. This is the lost Sport Deluxe and possibly one of the world's rarest muscle cars. There were only 8770 Beaumonts made in 1964 according to Pontiac websites and info. This car is 1 of 45 Beaumonts produced with the M-20 Four Speed and L77 four barrel engine. This Could be the only 4spd '64 SD in existence? A fine example of a survivor. B.C. Sorry, but a 220HP 283 does not a "muscle car" make. Yeah, any early 4-speed car is nice, but ... 220HP? Compare that to the 1964 GTO (that invented the muscle car) and ... no contest. Not that I don't like 1964 Beaumonts, they are extremely nice cars, good looking, more nimble than their big brother full size cars, decent ride and handling (especially for that vintage), nowadays can drop in a healthy SBC with no hassle and make them quite quick ... all in all a very likeable car. (Hmm, wonder if that is why I have one? )
Also, the "new" ad shows same ride height as earlier ad, which says no motor or trans, kind of hard to match that up with premium price (I'd expect at least a freshened 283/Muncie drive train for that much money, and probably should be close to 'numbers matching' at least for the motor) eh?
Thanks Darryl for posting, always interesting to see what is going on out there with our old cars.

Amazing. Guessing that someone broke down the numbers for him and convinced him how rare it is? Now he's gone fishing. For comparison lets reference what's being asked for the the 2 65s in Michigan, which are show cars.
The L77 220 HP was the "hottest" engine avail in a 1964 beaumont until mid year. if it is an early build, its a very repectable and rare engine option.
gotta love these guys that make up thier own statistics in thier ads. there were over 10000 made in 64, and i am sure alot more were 4spds.

No, I didn't suggest anything to him. He was obviously alot smarter than me and has a better feel for the market than I do. That's without a 283 and a Muncie!

First off I didn't know it was lost and what the F$*k is he thinking? At that price he doesn't want to sell it he's just looking for attention. It's not like it's the 1 missing Ragtop of the 201 '65 Z16's Chevelle's. A plain jane '64 4 spd-really??? If he'd have kept it at the original price it would've been gone by now. Or maybe we are all out of touch with reality and we don't see what he does? We can only assume..........

He recently bought the car for $5000.00 from the fellow in Kamloops who had it for sale for $5900.00. It was delivered to the new owner in Lumby who hit the jack- pot and now wants to flip it quick before it depreciates.
