windshield washer reservoir?

Anyone have a windshield washer reservoir for a 64? Wouls also take a non-stained coolant reservoir as well.

Cheers

Darcy

Just an FYI.....the coolant overflow bottles did not arrive until 1973....

There are some decent looking aftermarket ones available.....

The triangular bottle is for concentrated windshield washer fluid. It is a back up for filling the plastic reservoir which mounts on the rad support.
Rad o'flow is a totally separate monster. I've seen them on a couple 70 Buicks.

The glass triangular bottle I got already thanks to Carl. The plastic reservoir I have is cracked. The coolant reservoir I will take a picture of tonight and post it.

I believe the coolant overflow bottles were federally mandated in 1973....along with 5 mph bumpers...

Darcy you can buy them brand spankin' new lots of places, here's an example:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/62-72-GM-Chevy-Windshield-Washer-Jar-Bottle-Reservoir-Cap-Set-/331841311057?fits=Year%3A1964%7CMake%3AChevrolet&hash=item4d43489151:g:tFUAAOSwHnFVwiOT&vxp=mtr

Mine is just like yours (this is before I rerouted the coolant overflow line that some dimbulb had hooked up to it ... no washer pump on my car since some other dimbulb in the past had replaced my wiper motor with a single speed w/ no washer pump):

Maybe some dimbulb in YOUR car's past replaced the glass triangular bottle (looks to be located in the same place) with that who-knows-where-it-came-from-or-what-they-were-thinking-when-they-put-it-there other plastic thing?

Of course I am just speaking of my experience, lots of dimbulbs in all of my old cars pasts ...

And my 64 is a mid-size whilst yours is a full-size ...

Darcy, order a new (reproduced) '64 (and other years) Chevy plastic washer jug. Just make sure your cap, hose, and "inside the jug, hose end, screen-holder thingie" (there's a technical term) are good still. If not order the whole assembly.

ah, that would be, in the technical terminology, purely scientifically of course, Webster's Dictionary sense of the word...

... a Washer Jar Filter (lest your washer sprayer thingie get some effluvia caught within that would wreak havoc upon your washer sprayer thingumabob [thingamabob being, of course, much more complex and prone to discombobulation than a mere thingie])hmm

So I hope that clarifies thingies ... or thingamabobs .. or whozits ...
